WHO IS MERRYJEST STARCHILD?
Merryjest’s love for music began at a young age. His musical taste was shaped by many influences—French singer-songwriters like Michel Sardou, classical composers like Mozart, and the rock music his older brother played. His first record purchases—ABBA, a Donizetti opera, and Enya—show just how varied his inspirations are. As a classically trained crossover singer and lyrical tenor, Merryjest often performs pieces like “Una Furtiva Lagrima” (L’Elisir D’Amore), “Losing My Mind” (Follies), and “Nessun Dorma.” One of his most popular acts is his original parody song, “Second Side of Life,” which humorously reflects on Second Life experiences. Merryjest joined Second Life in 2004 and started performing there in 2010. Known for his colorful outfits and multimedia shows, he actively engages with his audience, just as he does in his real-life performances.

Try your luck in the raffle event organized for all guests attending the SL ISO Special Christmas Concert, sponsored and supported by BBX Design! Hosted by The Ritz SL Hotel, you’ll be enchanted by Merryjest Starchild’s unique renditions of Christmas songs and leave this fantastic atmosphere with beautiful memories!
On Sunday, December 22, 2024, the event will commence with doors opening and a cocktail reception at 11:00 AM SLT, during which the raffle will begin. The concert will start at 12:00 PM SLT, with the raffle concluding toward the end of the performance, when the winning guests will be announced. Three lucky individuals will be randomly selected to receive grand prizes generously provided by BBX Design.
WHAT TO DO?
On Sunday, December 22, 2024, join us at 11:00 AM SLT for cocktails and entertainment in the concert area. While enjoying delicious drinks and canapés, simply click on the BBX Design board located at the front right corner of the stage to register your name. That’s all it takes!
